Willard F Schultheis

Williard F. Schultheis, 76, of Newark Valley, passed away at his home, following an illness, on Dec. 25, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann E. Schultheis, his children Robert (Stacie), William (Annmarie) and Sara Schultheis (fianc Jason Poole); his granddaughters: Haleigh, Cherise, Lura, Averie, Madelyn and great grandson Silas; his sister, Lorraine (Clare) Eversdyke, nephew and niece, Michael and Melissa and several cousins. His parents, William and Katherine Schultheis predeceased him. Will was a graduate of Newark Valley High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. He was a long-time member of the Newark Valley First United Methodist Church, a Veteran of the US Army and a 35 year employee of IBM where he had participated in the Apollo Space Program. His memberships included the former Speedsville-Newark Valley Masonic Lodge (Past Master), No. Tioga Jaycees, and currently the Candor Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, softball and dining out. His family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, 2018 from 1-2:45 pm at which time Masonic Services will be conducted followed by a Funeral Service at 3 PM.
