Valerie Ann Crispell

Valerie Ann Crispell, 58, beloved wife of Richard H. Crispell for 40 years, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022. In addition to Richard, she is survived by her children: Kody (Kelly) Crispell, Vinessa (Michael Rollins) Crispell, and Kyle (Rochelle) Crispell; her mother, Connie Bulger (Don Porteus), step-mother, Christy Austin, her brothers; Danny (Gina) Austin, Duane (Pam) Austin, Justin Austin; sisters: Joanne (Lynn Matthews) Conrad, Jessica (Scott) Potter, Jamie Lewis, Justine Lewis, Desiree and Nicole; grandchildren: Isla Mae Crispell and Kolton Henry Richard Crispell; several nieces, nephews and cousins, among them: Lily, Dylan, Ashley and Alicia and Alexis Austin, Deven Conrad-Sober. Janet Nash, also known as 'PalVal' will surely miss her very best friend also. She was predeceased by her father, Donald Austin and her brother D J Austin. Valeries life, though tragically cut short by illness, was packed full of love. A very strong-willed and selfless person, she treated her friends like family. She was a whirlwind for sure! When her own children were young, she ran a day-care allowing her to have more years with them at home as well as helping other parents. Her home, which she kept immaculate, was decorated every holiday and was landscaped on the outside as well with her colorful flower gardens. Her artistic abilities were also evidenced in her beautifully created hand-made crafts as well as her exceptional skill to be an 'Animal Whisperer". She and her girls, The Bowling Bags, enjoyed many fun-filled times at Ides Bowling Lanes. Vals presence in our world will surely be missed but memories of this beautiful woman will remain in the hearts of all those she touched forever. Valerie's family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 from 12 noon until 2 o'clock. A Celebration of Her Life will follow there at 2 o'clock.
