Thomas M. Paden

Thomas M. Paden, 75, passed away surrounded by his loving family on January 31, 2017 at home in Johnson City, NY. Tom is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Woods) Paden, son Thomas H. Paden, daughter Mary E. Paden and partner Scott Conary, grandson Noah Thomas Paden-Crozier, sister Helen (Alexander) Burnaby; cousins Richard (Patricia) Paden, John Paden, Brian (Katherine) Janonis; brothers-in- law William (Joanne) Woods, Robert (Denise) Woods, James (Joyce) Woods; sisters-in- law Jeanne woods, Betty Ann (Charles) Kochis, Kathy (Richard) Barry.Tom was a graduate of Binghamton North High School and served in the United States Army in the Third Infantry Division. Following his time in the service he was employed by G.A.F., Ozalid, and Anitec until his retirement. In Toms early years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf. Civil War history was one of his passions, and he made a visit to Gettysburg, PA nearly every year. Tom loved to share stories with friends and family especially his grandson Noah. Toms sense of humor was evident until the end - A ray of sunshine during a difficult time. Calling hours will be held at the MacPherson funeral home on Saturday the 4th from 9-11am with a prayer service following at 11am.
