Thomas E. Lane, 73, of Owego, passed away suddenly on August 30, 2025. Born on October 26, 1951, Thomas or Tom as he was known to his family and friends was a son of the late Harry and Edna (King) Lane.

Tom is survived by his siblings, Alice (Bob) Bishop and Dennis (Yvonne) Lane, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family, including a ‘special niece Lily Austin.

In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his sister Lois Lane, and brother Robert Lane.

Tom lived a quiet life with many interests, from woodworking, collecting things, and scoping out all the local garage sales for his next big find. If he was not outside, he could often be found watching WWE wresting.

A service celebrating Tom’s life will be held graveside on September 22, 2025, at Hope Cemetery in Newark Valley, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Memories and condolences can be shared in his online guestbook at www.macphersonfh.com.
