Thelma J Walker

To watch Thelma's livestream of her service Thelma J. (Clark) Walker Thelma J. Walker, 79, of Berkshire, passed peacefully into her Saviors loving arms on November 29, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born in Endicott, NY on June 1, 1943, a daughter of the late Claude and Hope (Mathews) Clark. Thelma was predeceased by her loving husband, Douglas E. Walker, Sr. and granddaughter, Danielle Walker. She was also predeceased by brothers, Earl and Thomas Clark and sisters, June Tsohonis, Alice Mirra Page, Agnes Bertoni, and Lois Huffcutt Barrett. She is survived by her loving family: Rhonda (Michael) Moulton, Marcia OLoughlin (Robert Rounseville), Patricia Walker (Jack Stephenson), Douglas E. "Dubby" (Lisa) Walker, Jr., and Dennis (Melissa) Walker. She is also survived by her grandchildren Valerie Murtha, Joseph Dekar, Deidra Walker, Jonathon Dekar, Douglas E. Walker, III, Darin Walker, Allison Walker, Rachael Walker, Harley Switzer, and Dekan Walker as well as 9 great grandchildren; her brother Bruce Clark (Karen King), many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also survive. Thelma has devoted her life to her family, farm and her community. She especially enjoyed campfires, game nights with her family and lunches with the ladies. She was a member of the East Berkshire United Methodist Church and also attended the Jenksville United Methodist Church. Throughout her lifetime Thelma was an example of fortitude, endless love, motherly wisdom, and strength. Her work ethic influenced her entire family. Thelma was a true friend to all and will be greatly missed Her family will receive friends at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, on Friday, Dec. 2, from 12 noon until 1:45. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Her Life will follow there at 2 PM.
