Teresa A. Vanvorce

Teresa A. VanVorce, 49, quietly passed away on January 25, 2011. She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, John and her five loving daughters: Heather (Rick) Hulbert, Danielle (Chad) Farnham, Jeannine (Dustin) Miller, Kathy VanVorce and Christine VanVorce. Also surviving is her cherished sister, Debra (Timothy) Stoughton, her father, William Duran, her 8 adored grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, cousins and many friends.Teresa was born in Johnson City on May 17, 1961. She was predeceased by her mother, Judy a. (French) Duran, her grandmother, Marion Watkins, and her mother-in-law, Louise VanVorce. A devoted mother and homemaker, Teresa was an advocate of family traditions...hyacinths in the spring, cookouts with family and friends in the summer, mums in the fall and tree trimming after Thanksgiving dinner to mention just a few. She also had a passion for scrapbooking, the NY Giants, NASCAR (special fan of Jeff Gordon) and QVC.Teresa's family will receive friends, share memories and celebrate her life on Friday from 11 am to 1 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley.
