Steven "Stix" Bauer

Steven Stix Bauer, Sr., 60, passed away on July 21, 2011 due to heart disease. Steve was born on October 29, 1950 in Waverly a son of the late Laurence and Loreen (Hauver) Bauer.His other parents, Marion and Richard Hauver also predeceased him. Steve is survived by his life partner of 20 years, Connie Strohl, his son, Steven Bauer, Jr.; his extended family: Marilyn and Carl Akins, Sharon and Manford (Buster) Cornell, Chad and Ginger Hollenbeck, Eric and Rachel Hollenbeck and Amy Hollenbeck. Several grandchildren also survive.Steve was a supervisor for Temco Service Industries. As an accomplished drummer, he was a member of several bands, most recently, The Wild Heart Band. Their music has been enjoyed throughout the So. Tier and into PA as well. He was also a skilled carpenter and will be remembered as a gentle man. There will be no visitation or formal service. A private family celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
