Stephen M. Dyke, 68, of Newark Valley, a cherished father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away on December 17, 2024. Born on June 30, 1956, a son of the late Douglas and Mildred Dyke, Stephen lived a life marked by dedication to his family, a passion for his hobbies, and the honor of serving his country.

Stephen's memory will be treasured by his loving family. He is survived by his son, Douglas Dyke; his daughters, Erin Moffett and her husband Sean, Megan Shaw and her husband Sid, and Kendra Morse. His legacy continues through the joy and laughter of his grandchildren, Colden, Zach, Kyle, Madison, Kain, Isaac, Devon, Mason, Noah, Gemma, and Evelyn, who will forever hold their grandfather in their hearts. He will also be missed by his brother Douglas Dyke Sr. along with a large extended family.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his brothers Paul Dyke and Kenneth Dyke and sister Hazel Beck.

Throughout his life, Stephen was known for his unwavering patriotism and service. His dedication to his country was matched by his love for building and collecting car models, a hobby that brought him immense joy and allowed his meticulous nature and creativity to shine.
