Stanley J. Zukowski, 72, of Berkshire, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 12, 2014.Stan is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Alicia Zukowski, his devoted sons Adam and Christen Zukowski, Steven and Jennifer Zukowski and his cherished twin grandsons Damien and Anthony Zukowski. Also surviving are his brother Charles (Gloria) Zukowski; sisters: Joyce Rodriguez, Marion Reynolds; many nieces, nephews and Alicias family.Born on Oct. 12, 1942, Stan was the son of the late Charles C. and Helen Zukowski.He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.Stan was an independent contractor and loved to hunt, fish and garden. He especially enjoyed planting fruit trees. He was also an avid collector of anything he did not yet have in his collection. These collectables were found at.of all places garage sales! He was a fun-loving, story-telling Dad and grandpa as well as a best friend to his sons.A Celebration of Stans Life will be held at the Berkshire Fire Station on Sunday, Dec. 21, from 1-5 pm.
