Sharon Louise Wilcox

Sharon LOUISE Wilcox, 58, of Maine, NY, passed away on May 24, 2013 following a sudden illness. She is survived by her loving companion, Carl Butch Lantz; her children: Charles Wilcox, Sharon Sheri Howard, Amy Wilcox, Jamie Beers, Jenny Wilcox; her siblings: Bill Cody, M. Ray Cody, Raymond Barrett, Bradley Barrett, Grace Horton, Esther Thomas, Elma Young and Becky Hoskins; 19 grandchildren and a great grandson. Born in Corning, NY on Sept. 12, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Eva and Milton Cody, Sr. She was predeceased by her 3 sisters and 3 brothers and a granddaughter. She was a kind and loving woman, who persevered through many illnesses during her life and was an avid stock car fan and racer.A period of visitation will be held at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, on Thursday from 10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11am.
