Sharon C Corwin

Sharon C. Corwin, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2011. Sharon is survived by her devoted husband of 32 years, Dennis Corwin, her sons: Dusty (Sarah) Corwin, Daniel Peanut' Corwin, brother, Harold (Claudia) Gaylord, step-son, Ed (Molly) Corwin, uncles, Lynn (Norma) Mead, Clyde (Doris) Mead, nephews, Gary (Jody) Gaylord, Jerry Gaylord and fiance, Linda, great nephews and nieces, Matt, Kim, Nathaniel, Dylan, Blake, Brandi, special friends Penny Carmon, Linda Geer, Chuck Sinclair and her beloved canine companion, Hemi. Sharon was born on Aug. 15, 1951 in Endicott, a daughter of the late Gerald and Leeta (Mead) Gaylord. She graduated from Union Endicott High School and immediately began her career at IBM, Endicott, retiring after many years of service. She has been an employee at Endicott Machine and Tool for the past 10 years. Sharon was a devoted member of Union Center United Methodist Church. She loved being a homemaker, shopping, working in her flower garden and most especially loved being with her family. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Sharon's Life will be held at 1 PM on Monday at the Union Center United Methodist Church with her pastor, Rev. Brown Naik officiating. Spring Burial will be in the Nanticoke Valley Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 PM at the MacPherson Funeral Home 5 Whig St. Newark Valley.
