Sandra "Sandy" L. Rosenberger

Sandra L. Sandy Rosenberger, 68, of Welch Rd., passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at her home. Sandy is survived by her husband Arno Rosenberger; sons: Robert G. Max Rosenberger; Eric (Christine) Harris; Kyle (Fongming) Harris; Scott Harris; Daughter Kolleen (Frank) Griffiths and her children Kristie and Elizabeth; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families also survive. Sandy was predeceased by her parents and a sister Jean Benn. Sandy was born on March 12, 1943 in Linden, NJ a daughter of the late George and Viola (Groul) Lundgren. She was a graduate of Binghamton University and was employed as a Enumerator for the NYS Dept. of Agriculture & Markets. Sandy enjoyed bird watching, spending time outdoors sitting on the porch of the cabin and enjoying the beauty of the pond. She loved animals and treasured her family. She was a member of the Bird Club, African Violet Club and the Mens Garden Club. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing memories on Wednesday, January 25th from 10 to 12 noon at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St., Newark Valley. Funeral services and a celebration of Sandys life will follow at noon at the funeral home. Spring interment will be in the Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley.
