Sandra L. Jordan

Sandra L. Jordan, 70, of Owego, passed peacefully on October, 21, 2011 following an illness. She was born on October 23, 1940 in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Earl L. and Dorothy T. (Slate) Pierce. Sandy is survived by: her daughters Robin T. (Philip) Kwiatkowski and Renee (Ed) Manuel, son, Robert Jordan; her brothers: Earl (Peg), Robert (Alice), Keith (Tena), and Kevin Pierce; her treasured sister, Regina (Joseph) French, 10 adoring grandchildren:Jeremy, Cory (Jessica),Steven (Shannon), Jamie, Danielle (Adam), Johnna (Jesse), Kirsten (Luke), Brittney, Tessa, Hannah; 9 adoring great grandchildren:Caleb, Emmy, MacKenzie, Liam, Myranda, Brett, Madilynn, Atiana, Landen, and Barabara; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Earlier this year, Sandy was overwhelmed by the passing of her loving husband of 52 years, Robert E. Jordan followed by the passing of her beloved daughter-in-law, Denise (Truesdail) Jordan. Hearing later, that she was to be a great grandma again, truly brought great happiness to her. Sandy enjoyed her life to the fullest, especially when she could listen to great music, dance and be in the presence of her cherished family. In celebration of her life, family and friends will be gathering at the Speedsville Cemetery on Thursday, Oct. 27, for a 3 PM service as Sandy and her beloved husband are interred together.The Cooley Family of MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley is assisting with arrangements.
