Ruth Jones Struble

Ruth J. Struble, 70, of Owego, passed away on November 22, 2017. Ruth is survived by her sons Michael (Tammy) Struble, Ronald (Patricia) Struble; sister JoAnn (David) Pierce; brother George (Patsy) Jones; brother-in-law Jim Williams; grandchildren Joshua and Ashley Struble, Mary and Debbie, And many special great and great great grandchildren. Nephews and nieces Eric, kris, Ron, Tom, Becky, Rhonda, Adam, and Crystal. Aunt Verna Miller; uncles Myron, Ronald, and Paul Whitmore and many friends and other family. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Erwin Struble; parents Maxine Whitmore and Bernie Jones; sister Josephine Williams; grandmother Myra Whitmore and uncle Gary Whitmore. Ruth enjoyed baking and cooking and doing for others. Couponing was her passion! She also enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time by the river. Ruths family was the top priority to her. Ruth also cared for the elderly for 28 years as a home healthcare aide. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, is assisting the family.
