Rose C. Wasowicz

Rose C. Wasowicz, 61, of Lisle, NY, passed away suddenly on April 22, 1015.Rose was born on Dec. 26, 1953 in NY, NY and had resided in Staten Island prior to moving to Broome County with her family 29 years ago. She was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Rose (Desiderato) Fontano and her beloved husband, John Wasowicz (2014). She is survived by her loving son, Peter Wasowicz her 'other son' Stanley P, her faithful and loving dog, her sisters-in-law, Ann (William) Lixfield, Irene Fillio, her nephew: Jason Sweet and his fianc ,Erica Scales, his great-nieces Piper and Paige Sweet and dear friends, Evelyn and Bunk Ellis, Dawn Lewis (God Child), Donald and Rae Lewis and many other friends.Rose was a very dear and good hearted woman who would help anyone in need. She loved animals and gardening and was a great cook and baker. She has been a dedicated cook in the cafeteria of Maine Memorial Elementary School for many years. A grave-side service will be held at the Center Lisle Cemetery on Friday, May 1, 2014 at 4 oclock with family and friends sharing fond memories of Rose. Refreshments and additional time of sharing will follow at the Maine Memorial School.
