Rosann L. Davis

Surrounded by her family and those she loved so much, Rosann L. Davis, 85, of Oak Hill Rd., Barton, NY passed away on Friday, February 15, 2013 at her home. Rosann is survived by the love of her life Barry Davis, her daughter and son-in-law: Mary Ellen and Bill Middleton, son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Gwen Davis; brother and sister-in-law: Donald and Lois Cartusciello, her special grandchildren: Ashley and Ryan Middleton, Emily, Amy and Mitchell Davis; several nieces, nephews and their families along with her faithful feline companion Alley Cat Rosann was predeceased by her parents and a brother Vincent.Rosann was born on November 8, 1927 in Scranton, Pa a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Colangelo) Cartusciello. She was a graduate of West Senior High School in June 1945. On August 30, 1952 she married Barry Davis in Scranton. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she treasured the time spent with her family. She enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining. Rosann opened her home and her heart and loved to spend time with her craft club and mini club friends. She lived life to the fullest and made those around her feel special. Rosann was our strength and family rock.until we meet again, may she find comfort in the arms of an angel. We will love and miss you~Family and friends are invited to attend a period of visitation and time of sharing on Tuesday, February 19th from 11 to 1 pm at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 S. Main St., Nichols. A memorial service and celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Barton Cemetery.
