Roger N. Beebe

Roger N. Beebe, 60, of Newark Valley passed away at his home in the presence of his loving and devoted family on Thursday evening, July 31, 2008. Roger was born in Newark Valley on May 17, 1948. He is survived by his parents, Henry and Edith (Holcomb) Beebe, his children, Adam (Jackie) Beebe, Andrea (Chuck) Creeley, Janella Beebe, Jessica Beebe, his cherished grandchildren, Donavin Beebe, Angel, Nicole, Cassidy and Savannah Beebe and Cadin Creeley, Also surviving are his brothers, Henry, Jr. (Carol) Beebe, David (Cathy) Beebe, Walter (Carol) Beebe, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Other survivors include Sherrie Hubert and children, Tyler and Cody.Roger graduated from Newark Valley High School in 1968 and was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the US Marines. He was an employee of Agway (now Suburban) for more than 36 years. Roger was extremely proud of the log home he built. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed gardening, auctions and antiquing. He was also a loyal NY Yankee fan. His family will receive friends on Sunday, August 3rd from 11 am until 1:30 PM. at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St. Newark Valley. Military honors will be accorded there at 1:30 pm. Friends are also invited to call at the family home at 947 Dalton Hill Rd., Newark Valley after 4 pm on Sunday.
