Roger Howe

Roger Howe - affectionately and appropriately known as ‘Shorty’, 89, of Newark Valley, NY passed away peacefully at his home on March 7th, 2026 after a brief illness.

He was predeceased by his Parents - Melvin and Alsada Howe; Brother - Kenneth Howe; Son’s - Denny Howe and David Howe; Son-in-Law - W. Graham; Grandson - Matt; Grandson - Kevin; Great Granddaughter - Samantha; Great Grandson - Jeremy.

He is survived by: His wife and loving partner of 50+ years - Patricia Howe. Children - Cindy (Tony) Jump; Mike (Sue) Howe; Nancy Graham; Diana (Dan) Talcott; Rog (Paige) Howe; Pam (Jerry) McMichael; Ken (Kristi) Howe; Sarah Renee (Scott) Dornblaser; Shawn Howe; John (Heather) Howe. He is also survived and missed by 36 Grandchildren; 45 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren; as well as his Sister - Wesileen Sanders and several Nieces and Nephews.

He retired in 1993 after a 39 year career driving tractor trailer.

A celebration of life will be held at Gospel Chapel - 203 North Ave., Owego, NY - Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 11:30am.
