Roberta M. Loomis

Roberta M. Loomis, 95 of Maine, NY, passed away on Sept. 25, 2015 following a period of declining health.Roberta was born on Dec. 1, 1919 in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Burr and Mary E. (Hosford) Cameron. She was also predeceased by her husband Francis Loomis, her beloved son Roger for whom she lovingly cared for all of his life and her 2 sisters, Muriel Murphy and Louise Cameron. She is survived by her sister, Thelma Marsh and her nieces and nephews: Jenny Dutcher, Eric, Alan, Paul, Ted and Dale Marsh, Bobbie Lyon, Audrey Heroux, Steward Murphy, Kelly Ellsworth as well as several extended Loomis family members. Roberta was a member of the Maine Federated Church for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and her friends.Her family will receive friends at the Maine Federated Church on Tuesday from 10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11.
