Robert W. Pulaski

Robert W. Pulaski, 83, of Newark Valley, passed away on June 27, 2016 following a period of declining health. His loving wife, confidant, best friend and soul mate, Marion, who has always stood by his side, was indeed with him until he passed. In addition to Marion, Bob is survived by his children: Sharon Pulaski, Kathy Pulaski, and Richard Pulaski; his grandchildren: Brett, Dylan, Natalie, Nicholas; his sister Darlene (Joe) Jenny and several nieces, nephews. Also surviving is Marions extended family including her sister Judy Pierce who has been her guiding light during the course of Bobs illness. Bob was predeceased by his siblings: Barbara Roscoe, Loretta Nicholas and William Pulaski.Bob was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He retired from Singer-Link-Miles in Hillcrest. At an early age he acquired a love of the outdoors and has enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as landscaping ever since. Also, not one to sit idle, he enjoyed woodworking, a good Redsocks or Giants game, bus trips with Bill Flynn and most especially polka dancing around the floor with his beloved Marion.Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation and sharing of memories on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. A Funeral Service and Celebration of Bobs life will be held there at 11 oclock on Thursday. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery with full military honors accorded.
