Richard F. Loeffler

Richard F. Loeffler, 84, of Newark Valley, passed peacefully on August 9, 2012. Dick is survived by his wife, Judy (Haines) Loeffler, his mother-in-law, Arlene Haines , brother-in-law, Rodney ( Debra) Haines, nephew Robert (Davina) Haines, great nephew and niece, Robbie and Lydia and several cousins. Cody, Kirby and Virgil, Dicks 3 four-legged boys will also miss his presence.Dick was a member of the First Congregational Church of Berkshire and has been a life-long resident of the Berkshire and Newark Valley area where he owned and operated a dairy farm, seasonal greenhouses, produce stand and mobile home park.He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and boating and, he was a NY Yankee fan.His family will receive friends at the First Congregational Church in Berkshire on Monday, August 20th, from 4-5:30 pm.
