Richard D Dingman

Richard D. Dingman, 75, passed away on Sunday, Sept 9, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Marian Dingman and sisters, Norma (Martin) Ostrander, Marilyn (Bob) Hoyt. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sally (Hammond) Dingman, his children: Holly (Tim) Dizer, Jeannie (Marc) VanVorce, Judy (Tom) Doyle, his grandchildren: Timmy, Mandy, Michelle, Mary, Melody, Danielle, Tommy, 9 great grandchildren; his sisters Alice, Arlene and Dorothy, Sallys family: Bill (Ella May) Hammond, Tom (Janet) Hammond, Jack (Geri) Hammond, Kathy (Frank) Gombas, Carol (John) Hammond, nieces, nephews and cousins as well as many dear friends including Dale Barrett. He retired from Borg Warner following 39 years of service. Richard was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church and Moose Lodge, Owego. He was a great mechanic, enjoyed NASCAR Racing and above all, he loved his family. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on Sat. Sept 15 at MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St, Newark Valley. His family will receive friends there one hour prior to the service.
