Reva Leonard

Softly in the morning, you heard a gentle call you took the hand God offered you and quietly left us all Reva Jean Leonard, 75, of Newark Valley, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughters on Saturday, May 28, 2022. Reva was born on September 17, 1946 in Elmira, NY. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid CNN watcher and visiting with folks around the village. She was predeceased by her parents F. Edgar and Alice (Stoughton) Leonard and is survived by her children: Kolleen Rosenberger, Geri Leonard, Jamie Searle, Gena Dawes and Jordy Searle. Her special grandchildren: Kristie Clark, Elizabeth Griffiths, Allison Leonard, Raven Ridgeway, Justice Nichols, Riley Ayers, Shaelyn Searle, Brianna Searle, Leah Searle, Ethan Dawes. Her great grandchildren: Atticus, Isaiah, Iva, Melani, Mateo and Jameson. Her nieces: Lisa, Lonnie and Loreli; several cousins and many friends also survive. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
