Ralph Anderson

Ralph L. Anderson, 95, of Newark Valley, was called into the presence of the Lord on Nov. 5, 2016following a long illness. Ralph is survived by his children: Carolyn Wescott, Christopher (Myong) Anderson, Moreen (Paul) Heath and Dale Anderson; grandchildren: James, Andrew, Lori Lynn, Sharon, Michael, Nicole; several great and great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Ralph was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army Air Corp and a Purple Heart recipient.He was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley where he served as a trustee and a deacon and was also a great contributor to many of the construction projects at church. He retired from IBM, Endicott following 43 years of service. He also owned and operated a farm for many years. Ralph had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in playing jokes on others!A Celebration of His Life will be held at 1 PM on Sat. Nov. 12 at the First Baptist Church, Newark Valley followed by military honors. In lieu of flowers kindly direct memorials in Ralphs name to the Mercy House, 212 McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
