Phyllis L. Alexander

Phyllis L. Alexander, 76 of Newark Valley, passed away on Oct. 2, 2016 following a brief illness.Phyllis is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Victor Alexander and their children: Dennis Alexander and his fianc, Penny Scott, Timothy and Sobongsok Alexander, Vicki Alexander and Denise and Brian Riley. Also surviving are her 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and sisters, Ethel Smith and Hazel Van Susan, many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a member of the 1958 graduating class of Newark Valley High School. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. She fulfilled her dream and became a licensed Practical Nurse and retired from Willow Point Nursing Home following 15 years of employment. Family services will be private.
