Philip M. Seamans, 88, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at his home that he proudly built. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Charolette (Kuenzli) Seamans, his sons, John and Maxine Seamans, Dana and Dana Seamans, Matthew and Karrie Seamans, Steven and Michelle Seamans; his stepchildren; Debbie Gates, and Randy and Kimberly Gates, a good friend Maria, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his siblings; Anne Johnson, Mary Mack, and William Seamans. Philip was born in Cortland, NY on Oct. 12, 1921 a son of the late Harold and Norma (Swift) Seamans. Following graduating from Marathon High School, he continued his education and became a Quality Control Technician. He was employed by Smith Corona, EA Link Airport, and Savin. He also Served as a Automatic Rifleman in WWII,in the US Army 19th Mountain Infantry Division. He enjoyed teaching his sons to hunt, and was proud of their playing various sports.
