Penny L. English, 60, of Binghamton passed away on June 25, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1963 in Johnson City to the late Richard and Carol Jacobs. Penny was also predeceased by her husband, Michael. She was a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother.
Penny spent her life as a dedicated homemaker.
Penny was a woman of deep faith, finding solace and strength in her Bible readings.
Music was a significant part of Penny's life. She loved listening to a variety of genres, including Elvis, Christian, and country music. Penny had a special place in her heart for nature, which was evident in her love for going on picnics with her family and gardening.
Penny is survived by her daughters, Melissa (James) Brown, Carolyn Struble, Angel (Dwight) Bell, and Sandy Orlowski. In addition, she is also survived by her brothers, Richard (Kim) Jacobs, John Jacobs, and sister, Sandy Gates. Penny was also a grandmother to nine grandchildren.
