Pearl E Gardner

Pearl E. Gardner, 92, passed away on April 26, 2022 to be happily united with her husband Donald J. Gardner. Born and raised in Newark Valley, Pearl enjoyed a simple life. She will be forever in the hearts of her daughters: Connie (Edward) Marsh and Linda Huffcut, her 5 grandchildren: Tracy, Kelcy, Jamie, Michael, Brent, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandsons. She was lovingly Aunt Pearl to many.In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Leon and Teresa Zimmer, her siblings: Robert, Barney, Clifford and Jack Zimmer and Lillian Aloi. Pearl enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, feeding the birds, bowling and ceramics. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family and cheering on her grandchildren. Always a strong and determined woman, she will be remembered as the lady who did it her way even until the end! Pearls family is very grateful for the loving care she received while she resided at Elderwood, Vestal A warm and heartfelt thank you is also extended to Pearls dear friend, Rosalie for her daily calls.
