Pauline Cummings, 94, of Endicott, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 after a long battle with non-Hodgkins lymphoma. II Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Pauline was born March 28, 1922 to the late Wayne and Frances Smith Wilkins. Pauline was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Bruce Cummings; her son, David; her daughter-in-law, Anne Wahl; sisters, Ruth Clark and Jean Clarhaut; brothers, Stuart Wilkins, Richard Wilkins, Ronald and Donald Wilkins. She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne (Philip) Kasper; 8 grandchildren: Todd (Sara) Kasper; Melissa (Anthony) Hallmark; Jill (Christopher) Roth; Laura (Aaron) Berry, Andrew Kasper; Alicia Cummings, Timothy Cummings, and Emily (Charles) Schneider; 7 great grandchildren: Kayla Berry, Michael Kasper, Matthew Kasper, Isabella Berry, Benjamin Roth, Samuel Roth, and Ezra Schneider; sisters: Barbara (Donald) Stone, Margaret Potter, Shirley Strong, and Dorothy Brandt; many nephews and nieces; very special friends at Ideal: Jean Macias, Jim and Nancy Hughes, Nancy Arneson, Linda Castner, and Melanie Riese. Pauline graduated from U-E High School and Baptist Bible Seminary, was a beloved Pastors wife, taught Sunday School for many years, was a fabulous cook who enjoyed hosting guests, was well known for her peanut butter pie, the best sugar cookies ever, and her sewing skills. She has been a volunteer seamstress at Ideal Senior Living Center for over 14 years and will be missed by all. A special thank you to Broome Oncology, Dr. Yalamanchili, Dr. Eisenberg, and all those who took such great care of her at Ideal Senior Living Center and Ideal Skilled Nursing Care - Violet and Tulip Courts. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to First Baptist Church Maine, NY 13802 or Broome-Tioga Special Olympics c/o Theresa Avason, 1 Walnut Place, Apalachin, NY 13732. A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church Maine, NY on November 10, 2016 at 1 pm. Family will received friends from 11 am until time of the service. Burial will be in The Maine Cemetery.
