Patricia J. Halliday

Patricia J. Halliday, 72, of Owego, NY, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 23rd. She is survived by her husband Daniel D. Halliday; daughters Sarah (Gregory Taber) Halliday, and Kimberley (Adolfo Torres) Halliday; grandchildren Cassandra Taber, Damin Torres, and Alexander Torres; and brother David (Doris) Eaton. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Jane Pierce Eaton and Elon (Pat) Eaton; and brother John H Eaton. Patricia was an extremely active and important part of the youth development and community service organizations. She was a very much beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Along with her biological children, she was a mother and second mother to many others through 20+ years of friendships in the community. Patricia was a safe haven for many, and everyone knew that she would always do anything she could to help- no questions asked. She was an avid lover of nature, and especially enjoyed long drives to look at flowers, birds and trees. Patricia will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community. A Celebration of Patti's life will be held at a later date to be announced. MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley, is assisting the family with arrangements.
