Neal 'Skeeter' Carman

Neal 'Skeeter' Carman, 56, of Newark Valley died at his home on July 20, 2010 following an illness. Born on October 8, 1956 in Johnson City, NY, Neal was a son of Richard S. Carman and the late Ida M. (Mills) Carman. In addition to his father, Richard, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis (Rupert) Carman, his children, Cornealous Carman, Jr., Jennifer Carman, and Tonee Rae Carman, his siblings, Kenneth, Robert and Lyman Carman, Lena Shaff, Alma, Patty Blackman and Sylvia Riley. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Ida and siblings Penny Lesnick and Richard and Frank Carman.Neal loved KAWASAKI Motorcycles, and enjoyed 'tinkering' with anything mechanical.Graveside services were held at Hope Cemetery in Newark Valley with Rev. Archie Smith, Pastor of Lapeer Christian Church officiating.
