Nathan H. Keener, Sr, passed away on Aug 1, 2012 at Bridgewater Nursing Facility in Binghamton.He is survived by his children: Nathan Jr., Christophers Keener, Frank Wheeland, Debra Judson, Judy Alexander; Brothers Donald and John Keener and sisters, Hellen Cornell, Beatrice Ellison and Sally Richards. Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.Born on June 2, 1937 in Nichols, NY he was the son of Nathan and Alice (Terwilliger)Keener. He was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Carman) Keener and son Charles Wheeland. He was an employee of the former Howland Mills in Berkshire.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St Newark Valley. Burial will follow.His family will receive friends on Friday for one hour prior to the service.
