Miley M. Ferguson

Always in our thoughts Forever in our heartsOur cherished daughter, loving wife and mother, Miley M. Ferguson, 36, of Newark Valley, passed peacefully from her earthly home on May 10, 2016. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. Miley was welcomed into this world on September 25, 1979 by her parents Joseph and Deborah (Bottoff) Spano. She has been their pride and joy. In addition to her parents, Joe and Deb Spano, Miley is survived by her husband, George Ferguson; her daughters: Ashley Gray, Kali Gray, Piper Workman; her step-children: Aryana Ferguson, Tyrone Ferguson and Donald Ferguson and her brother, Jason Kinthiseng. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Miley was predeceased by her adored grandparents Russell and Helen Bottoff and Elva ODwyer. Miley was a graduate of Newark Valley High School, Class of 97. A very caring and compassionate woman, she became a licensed Practical Nurse and worked at several nursing homes in the area. She loved to paint, play keyboard and more recently ride motorcycle. Her family will receive friends on Monday evening from 4-6 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home, in Newark Valley.
