Mildred 'Millie' Barnum

Our beloved mother, Millie Barnum, 91, passed away at her home Thursday morning, April 1, 2021. Millie was predeceased by her mother Minnie (Mix) Parker, father Ernest Parker, husband Richard Dick Barnum Sr., sister Margaret (Parker) Cross, brother Harold Parker, son Richard Rick Barnum Jr. She is survived by daughter Linda (Barnum) Lamb of Newark Valley, son Terry (Ruth) Barnum of Binghamton, daughter Debby (George) DeGroat of Newark Valley, step-sisters Francene Garner and Francis Conklin; grandchildren Tamm Myka, Christine Tu, Michael Lamb, Michele Lamb, Nicole Hansel, Jason Barnum, Eric DeGroat, Kyle DeGroat, Shana DeGroat and several great-grandchildren. Millie loved to garden and especially enjoyed all the many hours of research in genealogy. She was a wonderful, selfless mother and would help anyone who needed a hand or good advice. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Millies memory may be made to Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd. Vestal, NY 13850.
