Michael Teoli

Michael R. Teoli, 61, of McDonough, NY passed away on November 7, 2021, following a hard fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Lori; his children Michael Teoli, Gabriel (Sarah) Teoli, Christian Teoli, and Gottlieb Teoli; grandchildren Aria and Lyra; brothers William (Diana) Teoli and David (Clarita) Teoli; sisters Mary Beth (Steven) Corapi and Barbara (Mustafa) Dindar; and many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family. Michael was predeceased by his parents, William and Carol Teoli.Michael was a gifted special education teacher, making meaningful and personal connections with each of his students. He loved music, camping, and farming. Michael's favorite memories were those of time spent with his family. He enjoyed history and was especially interested in researching and sharing what he could about his own family genealogy. Faith and family were of utmost importance to Michael. He was a devout Catholic and a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His smile and caring heart will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have been a part of his life.Friends and family are invited to a brief period of visitation at St. Patrick's Church in Owego, NY on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 9:30 to 10 am, at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Latin, with Father Peter Van Lieshout officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Patrick's Church or the Mount St. Francis Hermitage in loving memory of Michael.
