Maxine L. Fogle

Maxine L. Fogle, 83, formerly of Newark Valley, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2011. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Jean Fogle, Melvin Bud and Edie Fogle, Ellen Fogle; her brothers and sister, Art (Ruodonna) Pickett, Doug (Arlene) Pickett, Viona Cleveland and sister-in-law, Mickey Pickett. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Michelle Fogle, Monica Slater, Melissa Lilienthal, Pam Teeter, Penny Tesseyman, Peggy Romig, Tammy Wahl, Andy Fogle, Debbie Sherman, Chelsey Burke; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.Maxine was born in Rush Pa on May 30, 1927 a daughter of the late Francis and Iva (Terry) Pickett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her son, Raymond, daughter, Diane Fogle-Burke and brother Earl Pickett. For many years, Maxine assisted her husband with the operation of the family dairy farm on Rock St. Later, she was a home health aide providing loving care to many area residents in the comfort of their own homes. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, crocheting and cooking, but, she also loved to dine out. A celebration of Maxines life will be held at the convenience of the family at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley. Burial will be in the family plot at Hope Cemetery.
