Marilyn N. Orre

Marilyn N. Orre, 85, of Owego, NY passed away on February 25, 2021. She is survived by sister Betty Lou (William) McNamara, sister-in-law Linda Ferguson; nephews Raymond Johnson, Jason (Sandy) Ferguson, Josh (Sarah) Ferguson; several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Harold Ferguson and Dorla Snapp, brother James Ferguson, and nephews Greg Johnson and Corey Hoag. Marilyn was a bus driver for Owego Free Academy, and later for Cornell University where she retired. She was a member of the Owego Presbyterian Church. Marilyn loved spending time with family, and especially enjoyed her short stays with her sister. Some of her favorite hobbies were knitting, making ceramics, and flower gardening. Marilyn was always up for a good game of cards or piecing together a puzzle, usually with her Chihuahua companion by her side. MacPherson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
