Marilyn Hunsinger

Marilyn Louise Hunsinger, 77, of Newark Valley, New York passed away peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York. Marilyn was born on January 22, 1944. She was predeceased by her husband Cecil Hunsinger, four brothers and one sister. Marilyn is survived by her two boys: Alan (Patricia) Hunsinger and Eugene (Vicki) Hunsinger; her three granddaughters: Ashley and Sara Hunsinger, and Alicia (Hunsinger) and her husband Anthony DiGiacomo; and her two grandsons Bryce and Stu Alexander. Marilyn loved to travel- no distance was too far for a visit with family and friends. Gifted with hospitality, she loved opening her home and making everyone feel welcome. Marilyn had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Her hobbies included fishing, camping, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She never missed a night of her favorite game shows- even if they were reruns! A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St. Newark Valley, NY on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2 - 4 pm.
