Margaret 'Marge' Jackson

Margaret "Marge Jackson, a very loving 98-year-old, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 27, 2022 to be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 68 years, William Bill Jackson. He predeceased her on Feb. 28, 2014. She was also predeceased by her parents Walter and Emma Thorne, 3 sisters and a brother. She is survived by her four children whom she and Bill lovingly adopted as infants: David Jackson, Teri (the late David) Morse, Peter (Angie) Jackson and Jean (James) Bolden; her cherished grandchildren: Whitney (Cory) Morse-Hood, Cody Jackson, James (Jr) and Joshua Bolden, Kyle Jackson and 11 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews. Marge was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker devoted to her family who meant the world to her. She especially cherished the visits from her grandchildren. When her children became older, Marge provided care in her home to numerous children from her community. Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday at 10 am at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, Owego followed by inurnment in the church columbarium.
