Luella T. James

Luella T. James, 94 of Vestal, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2018. Luella was predeceased by her parents, George L. and Rena M (Patch), her husband Lewis James and her siblings, Norman, Wesley, Harriet, and Mae. She is survived by her loving sister Berma Shaver, brother John (Beth) Tompkins and she was 'Aunt Bid' to her many nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews.Luella was an employee of IBM, Endicott for 39 years and enjoyed her retirement years. She was a member of IBM Quarter Century Club; loved to spend time with her family at their camp at Lake Idlewild. She also enjoyed her home where she tended her beautiful flower gardens and baked special treats. Everyone, if they were lucky enough to get some, enjoyed her signature home-made yeast rolls!In keeping with Luella's wishes, private family services will be held at their convenience.
