Lois I Cheely

Lois I. CheelyFormerly of Newark ValleyLois I. Cheely, 67, of Heuvelton, NY passed away suddenly on Dec. 13, 2007 following a brief illness. Born on Jan 30, 1940 in the Town of Barton, NY, Lois was a daughter of the late Sidney and Katherine (Thompson) Pine. She was also predeceased by her lovinghusband Charles Cheely in 1961 and her sister, Janet Lewis.Lois is survived by her children whom she dearly loved, Tim, Patricia and Sarita, her brother Eugene Pine and sisters, Sharon Tilly, Diana Hoyt and Betty Payne, her loving caregivers, Val and Jack Ladouceur and several close friends including her special friend Bob Bigtree. Lois enjoyed making crafts and painting. A part of Lois vitality was taken from her when her husband died suddenly at the age of 28. Now she is reunited with him never to be separated again. Friends may call at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig St. Newark Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 18th from 9-10 am. A celebration of her life will follow there at 10 with Rev. James T. Willard officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira.
