Linda M. BoutonOf Newark ValleyOur beloved wife, daughter and sister, Linda (Kulasza) Bouton, 50, peacefully entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Her beautiful smile and gentle presence will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 21 years, Syd N. Bouton, Jr, her loving mother, Olga (Melnyk) Kulasza and cherished sister and brother-in-law, Marie and David Williams. Also missing her presence will be her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law whom she considered her dear friends, Joan and George Nalepa, April and Ronald Harris, Ginny Whittenburg, Charlotte and Skip Williams, her Godfather and uncle, Bill (Nadine) Dranchak, several other aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. It was a privilege for Linda to be Godmother to Kathryn Gross. Linda was born in Endicott on Feb. 11, 1959. She was preceded in death by her father, John Kulasza, Syds parents Sydney and Julia Bouton and her brother-in-law, Grady Whittenburg. She was a graduate of Maine-Endwell High School and had attended Broome Community College. She and Syd were in partnership operating the Mr. Koffee Shop on Washington Ave., Endicott. They subsequently fell in love and were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 1987. Currently, she was employed as events manager for Kalurah Shrine, Endicott. Linda was a devoted member of Most Holy Rosary Church in Maine where her beautiful voice enhanced the choir. For many years, she and Syd also helped to organize the October Fest at the church. Linda was a talented interior decorator, an excellent cook and baker, enjoyed needlepoint, flower gardening, dancing and loved her home.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Most Holy Rosary Church, Maine at 10 am on Monday with Rev. Clarence Cerwonka, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley. Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the MacPherson Funeral Home 5 Whig St., Newark Valley.
