Linda L. Hoyt

Linda L. Hoyt, 74, of Owego, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2018. She is survived by her children: Penny Travis, Michael (Michele) Hoyt, George (Zenaida) Hoyt, Joe (Nancy) Monte, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; Siblings: Don (Rose) Hall, Robert Hall, and Kathy Bragg; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Linda was predeceased by her husband George Hoyt, and her parents Kenneth and Erma Hall. Linda was very creative, and enjoyed many kinds of arts and crafts. If you were a close family member you were sure to receive an embroidery on your birthday or anniversary. She loved participating in the activities at Absolut Care, her favorite being BINGO. Everyone knew not to interrupt Linda if she was in the middle of a round of BINGO! Above all, Linda treasured her family and especially took great pride in all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lindas family will receive friends on Monday, Sept. 17th at the MacPherson Funeral Home, Newark Valley from 10-11 am at which time a Celebration of Her Life will take place.
