Leland C Yetter

Leland C. Yetter, 92, formerly of Berkshire, passed away peacefully on April 20th 2011 in Gaffney SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty J. Yetter and his brother, Richard V. Yetter. He is survived by his children: Robert (Beverly) Yetter, Rosalyn Phillips, Ronald Yetter, Robin (Brian Slack) Yetter 9 Grand children, several great grandchildren. Lee was a member of the Congregational Church, Berkshire. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army, a retired Senior Sgt. Investigator Tioga County Sheriffs Dept, a member of the Newark Valley Historical Society, and a railroad buff-- formerly very active at the Depot. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hope Cemetery, Newark Valley. Memorials in his memory may be directed to a charity of ones choice.
