Laurence Jodie Bartlett

Laurence J. Bartlett, 58, of Owegopassed away at his home on Thursday, April 22, 2010, following a period of declining health. Larry was born in Endicott on May 22, 1951, a son of Blanche (Vrooman) and the late John 'Jack' Bartlett (1928-2009). In addition to his mother, Blanche, Larry is survived by his son, Brian J. Bartlett; his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Tom Anschutz and their daughter, the light of his life, Elaina; his sister, Linda (John) Brainard; several nieces, nephews, cousins, including RJ Bartlett, whom he considered a great friend, and many other friends. Larry was a sports enthusiasts and a huge fan of the NY Giants, Syracuse Orangemen and NASCAR. He has been a collector of coins for many years and made it his passion to collect certain ones as a gift to his granddaughter. He was well-known as the person to call if you needed anything designed, modified or repaired. Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley.
