Laura E. Gregrow

Laura E. Gregrow, of Speedsville, passed away on September 14, 2013. Laura is survived by her daughters: Janice Brown and Joan (Mathis Jackson) Gregrow; daughter-in-law, Janine Gregrow; grandchildren: Jennifer (Ernest Edwards) Gregrow and Eric (Dana) Gregrow. Also surviving are great grandchildren: Carter, Gabrielle, Tamara and many nieces and nephews. Laura was the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Sylvia (German) Stevens. She was also predeceased by her husband Peter Gregrow and her sons Gary and Richard Rick Gregrow. She was a prominent member of the Speedsville Community where she and Peter owned and operated Gregrows General Store for 30 years. She was also an active and long-time member of St. Johns Episcopal Church in Speedsville. Family and friends are invited to attend a grave side service for Laura at 11 am on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. Rev. Richard Schaal will officiate.
