Kenneth G. Sheldon, Jr.

Kenneth G. 'Butch' Sheldon, Jr., 73, of Berkshire, passed away on December 7, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy Lee Sheldon; his children, Kenny (Karen), Duane (Joan), and Tina; many grandchildren, including Jessica and Jasmine who lived with him, and many nieces and nephews; his siblings Betty Anthony, Roger Sheldon, and Mike Sheldon. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Sheldon, Sr. his mother Mary Isham; His brothers Jim and Charlie. Butch served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran of the Vietnam War. In his free time, Butch enjoyed many sports including hunting. Above all else, he LOVED to go fishing. He was a man of few words, however, when he spoke, everybody listened! Butch cherished his family, and had a love for kids, treasuring time spent with his children and grandchildren.A celebration of his life will be held at 2 o'clock on Saturday, December 14th, at the MacPherson Funeral Home in Newark Valley, with full military honors accorded.
