Kathryn “Kathy” Beebe

Kathryn L. Beebe, affectionately known as Kathy to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on January 9, 1951, a daughter to the late Thomas and Eloise (Drake) Reynolds, Kathy's zest for life and her loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her.

Kathy is survived by her husband of over 20 years, David Beebe, her children Lisa (Shane) Austin, and Ronald Benson, her step-children David “Scott” (J-Lene) Beebe, and Sarah Beebe, 11 grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She will be especially missed by her long-time best friend Pam.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brother Tom Reynolds and sister Marianne Bailey.

Kathy's love for adventure was evident in her passion for the outdoors, as she cherished the times spent camping with her husband in their motorhome. Whether it was the sandy shores of Daytona Beach, boating with her daughter Lisa on Seneca Lake, or the winding roads that were perfect for motorcycle rides, Kathy found joy in every journey. Her enthusiasm for classic cars often led her to explore the roads less traveled, with the wind in her hair and a smile on her face.

Kathy's legacy is one of love and thoughtfulness, a testament to the life she lived and the hearts she warmed. She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
