Kathleen M. Zimmer

Kathleen (Kathy) M. Zimmer, 63, of Oneonta, formerly of Newark Valley, passed away on March 27, 2021 following a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents Philip and Mary Ruth Zimmer, and her brothers Paul Zimmer and Philip Zimmer Jr. Kathy is survived by her brothers Joseph (Linda) Zimmer, Robert (Penny) Zimmer, Daniel (Luanne) Zimmer; sister Suzanne (Henry) Koerber; and many nieces and nephews.Kathy was a resident of SpringBrook in Worcester, NY for many years and in Oneonta, NY for the past 2 years. She loved holidays, football magazines, a cup of coffee and McDonalds. Kathy also had a special fondness for cats.Kathy's family would like to extend a special thank you to Brenda, Doranda, and Jake, along with the staff at Ford Ave, for the excellent care they provided to Kathy. A private graveside service will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY at the convenience of the immediate family. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Stray Haven Animal Shelter in loving memory of Kathy. MacPherson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
