Kathleen M "Patti Westover" Ackley

Surrounded by her loving family and those who meant the world to her, Kathleen M. Ackley, 61, of Newark Valley, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at her home. "Patti Westover" as she was known to her family and friends was born on September 14, 1960 in Endicott, NY a daughter of the late Bruce L. and Eileen D. Westover. Patti was a graduate of Maine Endwell High School class of 1978. For many years, Patti was a technical secretary and many will remember her as the secretary for the Vestal School District. A talented cook, Patti enjoyed sharing her baked goods and meals with her family. She loved to be surrounded by her family and she was their biggest cheerleader when it came to motocross racing. Patti had the biggest smile and many will remember when she won the Powderpuff Race at Skyline Raceway. Patti will be forever missed by her daughter: Amanda Ackley and her friend Ashley Morini; her long time friend Ken and Betty Ackley; her brother David Westover, sister Shari Williams; nephews: Chad Williams and family; Corey Westover. Her sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Donna and Michael Evans. Patti was welcomed into heaven by her parents Bruce and Eileen Westover. A time of remembering and celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
